We are also very well aware of the urgent problems associated with environmental pollution. In response, we have taken proactive steps to ensure the good health of ecosystems in our region. By actively implementing a number of measures, we try to reduce pollution, build on the principles of the circular economy and support sustainable practices. The basis of our products are natural materials – cast iron, which is a 100% recyclable material. For the production of cast iron, we mainly use secondary raw material – iron scrap. We invest in environmentally friendly means of transport, both hybrid and electric cars, but also electric or CNG trucks and handling equipment.

One of the significant steps we have taken is the transformation of our electric furnace melting process. By including systems for dry dust removal, we have successfully reduced the release of harmful particles and pollutants into the air. This transition from wet dust removal to dry filters not only increases the efficiency of the process, but also significantly reduces our carbon footprint.

Wet precipitators have long been used for air pollution control, but they have limitations such as high water consumption, potential wastewater contamination, and the need for ongoing maintenance. The use of dry filters not only mitigates these disadvantages, but also offers higher efficiency and lower energy consumption. Dry filters effectively capture and remove solid particles and pollutants from industrial processes without the use of water, making them a cleaner and greener alternative. By making this transition, industry can contribute to a cleaner atmosphere and healthier ecosystems.

Air filtration noise reduction

Noise pollution can be equally harmful to the environment and the well-being of nearby residents. To address this issue, we have implemented noise reduction measures in our air filtration systems. By using advanced technology and designing systems to minimize noise, we have successfully reduced noise levels, contributing to a more peaceful and sustainable environment.

Removal of volatile substances from synthetic paints

Another essential aspect we have dealt with is the removal of volatile substances from synthetic paints. We have installed a state-of-the-art recovery unit that captures and recycles these substances, preventing their release into the atmosphere. This not only benefits by reducing air pollution, but also makes our painting processes more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Utilization of waste heat from the smelting process

One of the other steps we have taken to promote environmental sustainability is the use of waste heat from the smelting process. Instead of this valuable energy going to waste, we use it for various applications within our operations. In doing so, we not only reduced energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, but also improved our overall energy efficiency.
